With much anticipation for the release of our Fall 2012 Collection, we would like to announce and welcome Mayra Veronica, as Bettie Page Clothing's official spokesmodel. We are delighted and honored to have Mayra on our team and welcome her to the Bettie Page family.
With her captivating smile, voluptuous curves and down-to-earth yet vivacious personality, Mayra Veronica represents an inspiration for modern times. Among Mayra's many accolades is being voted "Miss USO" by our service men and women abroad, making her the perfect woman to represent our brand. "After all, the very term 'pin up' started when our WWII fighting men 'pinned up' photos of beautiful women to remind them of what was waiting for them back home," says Tatyana Khomyakova, Co-CEO and designer of Bettie Page Clothing.
Mayra traveled to Iraq and Afghanistan several times in support of our troops, giving them hope and reminding them of what is awaiting them back home. Our very own modern “pin up” of today brings to our troops the same style and tradition of the classic pin ups of yesteryear. We are thrilled to have the modern version representing Bettie Page's retro fashon – the “Queen” of all pin ups!
