The holiday season is among us; it’s time to be bold in RED! Bettie Page Clothing’s Vickie Red wiggle dress is the perfect complement to your stunning figure that will also keep you warm in the chilly temperatures with it ¾ sleeves.
It was a hot late April day in Las Vegas. As we approached our office, we noticed a German Shepard lying down on the sizzling hot sidewalk. “Whose dog is that?” I asked Tatyana. “I don’t think he belongs to anyone” she replied. “I think he’s abandoned.”
Even if you weren’t around in the 50s, there’s still a good chance you’re familiar with some of the decade’s most popular television shows. Here are five fan favorites.
#1: I Love Lucy I Love Lucy became a culture in and of itself. Crazy redhead Lucille Ball and her hunky Cuban husband Desi Arnaz provided some of the greatest comedic entertainment of the decade—and their impact has yet to fade. The I Love Lucy community is still going strong. “Lucy, you’ve got some ‘splaining to do!”
The long-sleeved Helen dress takes stripes to another level. Don’t be hesitant to wear this horizontal pattern: This pencil dress will hug your figure for a beautifully slimming appearance. Cut with a hemline just above the knee, you still have the opportunity to show off those gorgeous stems!
Look boo-tiful this Halloween season in vintage style clothing from Bettie Page.
Go for innocent and youthful and dress up as everyone’s favorite female mouse. Our Rainbow Blouse in red contrasts perfectly with a black-and-white polka dot skirt. Don Minnie’s famous ears with a red and white dotted bow, and you’ve got a vintage outfit Walt Disney would be proud of!
The sultry sirens of Rue Royal Burlesque in Portland, Oregon turned up the heat on August 30th with their revival of the Golden Age of strip tease. The historic Star Theater was the perfect venue for this night of all-star burlesque performances. As a former Silent Film venue, it was wonderful to hear live music by Pink Lady, serenading us with songs of the Prohibition era while being tantalized by the women of Rue Royale. To add to the fun, we were honored with the opportunity to showcase our dresses during a fashion show during intermission.
